Well, the title pretty much explains it all. I can't really sum it up better. I tell you about things in my recent life from the good, to the bad, to the random.
REVIEWS
Games-
Metal Gear Solid 4: Possibly the best game coming out this year. Definitely the best PS3 game in existence right now. It concludes the story, improves the gameplay, and has the most cinematic, epic final hour of gameplay that I've ever experienced. This game is worth buying a PS3 for.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl: What can I say that hasn't been said already? I love the improvements, the level editor, the amount of characters, and the new items and stages. The online play could use some work, but other than that, this is still my favorite Wii game out there.
Apollo Justice: I was skeptical at first, but not anymore. Being made for the DS from the ground up made this game feel fresh and clean, compared to the ports of the other three. I dare say it? This is probably my favorite of the Ace Attorney games.
Assassin's Creed: Yet again, I was skeptical, but I ended up enjoying this game a lot. I loved the sandbox play in the giant cities, the graphics were beautiful, and it's fun being an assassin. I was one who actually liked the unique plot.
Mass Effect: My favorite 360 game so far. I loved the gameplay and the ability to choose outcomes of just about everything storywise. Good graphics, plus, Seth Green. If you have a 360 or a PC, get this game.
Movies-
Kung Fu Panda: I really enjoyed it. The opening and ending animations were really fun to see after watching all 4 seasons of Samurai Jack. My only complaint is that Jackie Chan had only like, 3 lines in the entire movie.
Iron Man: Really good. I liked it a lot. I've always liked Iron Man, and I'm glad to see how well this movie was made. Can't wait for the inevitable sequel.
Indiana Jones: I can't really say much about this one. I didn't really like it. It's a summer action movie, so obviously they had to put Shia Lablouuuf...whatever in it. He's the new Orlando Bloom it seems. The story was...eh... And the entire movie looks like it was shot with a wide-angle lens, so it made my eyes hurt every now and then.
Narnia: I liked it. No real comments here since I never read the books.
RECENT EVENTS
Wisdom teeth: I need them out. Soon. They hurt, and one of them may lead me to an infection if not treated soon. Lucky me, I guess.
Credit Card: Well, Capitol One called me one day, and said I owed them money. How much? about $500. They told me this was due to late charges piling up. Yet I never got a single phone call, a single e-mail, or a single letter in the mail. Then they call me a day before my card would be canceled, and then made me pay all $500, without me disputing it. Fuck you, capitol one...
Hobbies: Well, since classes are over for a few months, I have time to do my hobbies. These include writing, videogaming, and a newer one, still photography. The last one is a recent hobby, but one I've always wanted to do, and now since I have a 10MP digicam, I have all my resources, and have started quite nicely. I also aim to have my book finished written this summer. One can dream...
PERSONAL THINGS
Friends: I feel as if some friends are drifting, I feel as though some are coming closer. I feel as if I'm losing the ones I love, and others are starting to find interest in me. I feel as if I've already lost a big part of my life, but at the same time, I'm trying to open a part of my life which is forcibly closed. Very conflicted right now, but hopefully in the near future, everything will be sorted out. Only time will tell.
Health: Let's face it, I'm sick. I'm probably gonna die before I'm 50. I try not to think of it, but yeah, the sad truth is I have a shitty heart. Stress and heartache only make it worse, and my life has been stricken with it. I have two large moles on my body which should be removed, because they don't look healthy. I have a bad lung, so I can't risk it collapsing again. I can't even be around people that smoke. Which includes a lot of people I hang out around. Sucks.
Work: I love my job, I really do. I'm half-out thinking about dropping out of classes just so I won't be so tired when I come home. I make so much money, it's very reliable, and it's something I can easily do. Why would I need anything else? Why would I keep having to go to class if I have the job I want?
CONCLUSION
It's very hot here, I'm in my underwear sweating. I'm concerned about myself and my friends right now, but only time can settle what's going to happen. I love my friends, and I hope they'll love me in return. That's not too hard to ask, is it?
